Job Purpose
The primary purpose of the Executive PMO is to drive efficient execution of regional projects. This includes tracking progress using interactive dashboards, reconciling data with stakeholders, and ensuring timely resolution of dependencies. The role also involves feasibility assessments, project planning, and collaboration with various departments to enable smooth and timely project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 Project Management – Ownership of regional and sub-regional projects from planning to execution, tracking, and reporting milestones and KPIs.
🔹 KPI & Target Monitoring – Assist the Deputy Director Engineering in developing and monitoring KPIs and KCIs to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.
🔹 Cross-Department Coordination – Work closely with HQ teams and sub-regions for timely project enablement, issue resolution, and alignment with regional goals.
🔹 Compliance Oversight – Ensure support needs are identified and compliance requirements are fulfilled for project success.
🔹 Engineering Project Evaluation – Evaluate planned and ongoing projects to maintain quality, consistency, and alignment with commercial standards.
🔹 Data & Reporting – Maintain project dashboards, databases, and provide risk analysis and performance tracking.
🔹 Risk & Issue Management – Identify challenges and design mitigation strategies in collaboration with the line manager.
🔹 Communication Enhancement – Improve coordination across departments, sub-regions, and vendors to achieve seamless execution.
🔹 Quality Assurance – Conduct quality audits to ensure projects meet all required benchmarks.
🔹 Financial Oversight – Track OPEX and CAPEX to ensure cost control and optimal value delivery.
Eligibility Criteria
Education
🔹 Bachelor of Science/Engineering in Electronics, Electrical, Telecom, or Computer Science from a recognized institute.
Experience
🔹 Minimum 6 to 7 years of relevant experience in the telecom sector.
Skills Required
🔹 Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
🔹 Problem-solving and analytical mindset.
🔹 Proficiency in project planning and management.
🔹 Technical understanding of Access Network Operations.
🔹 Strong expertise in MS Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, MS Word.
🔹 Knowledge of database management and quantitative analysis.
