📍 Job Overview

The IT Resident Engineer will work directly under the supervision of the SDEO to ensure the smooth functioning of IT infrastructure and administrative operations at PERA’s enforcement stations. This role includes troubleshooting and maintaining IT systems, managing software and network operations, and ensuring office administration runs efficiently. From technical problem-solving to handling duty rosters, correspondence, and budget management — every day will bring a new challenge.

🎓 Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must hold 16 years of education, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a relevant discipline. Degrees in Administration, Management, or Social Sciences are also acceptable if combined with strong computer skills. A minimum of two years of relevant experience is required, with at least one year in the public sector. Private sector experience will also be considered if the organization is registered with SECP or another recognized authority. Age eligibility ranges from 22 to 70 years.

💼 Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day IT operations, including system setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and networking equipment. You will manage software installations, updates, and ensure network stability. The role also includes maintaining official records, preparing periodic reports, managing procurement and vendor coordination, handling financial transactions, and ensuring smooth administrative operations at the enforcement stations.

💰 Salary Package

Selected candidates will receive an attractive package under the SPPP-05 pay scale along with any other benefits applicable under Schedule-III of the service rules. The package is designed to provide stability and reward professional competence.
